About the Calendar Generator

This calendar generator builds printable monthly or yearly calendars to your own layout — choose the year, the months, the week start, and the style, then produce a clean PDF to print. It is ideal for planners, workshops, schools, and custom wall calendars.

Custom calendars, your way

Rather than hunting for a calendar that nearly fits, you set the parameters: the year and range of months, whether the week starts on Monday or Sunday, and the page format and style. The generator lays out the days correctly — handling month lengths and leap years automatically — and outputs a print-ready document you can pin up or hand out.

Starting the week on the right day matters more than it sounds: much of the world begins on Monday while the US and others begin on Sunday, and a calendar with the wrong start is subtly hard to read. Choosing it explicitly avoids that friction.

Printing and using it

A generated PDF prints consistently at the size you choose, with room to write, unlike a screenshot of an on-screen calendar. Use it for project planning on the workshop wall, a school term planner, a habit tracker, or a personalised gift — anywhere a generic calendar does not quite suit the job.

Worked example

Making a wall planner for the second half of a year, week starting Monday.

  1. Choose the year and select July to December.
  2. Set the week to start on Monday and pick a full-page monthly layout.
  3. Generate the PDF and print one month per page.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose which day the week starts on?

Yes. You can set the week to begin on Monday or Sunday to match your region or preference, and the layout adjusts the columns accordingly.

Does it handle leap years correctly?

Yes. The generator places the days for each month automatically, including February in leap years, so the dates always line up with the correct weekdays.

What format is the calendar produced in?

It generates a print-ready PDF, which prints cleanly and consistently at your chosen page size — better for a usable wall or desk calendar than a screen capture.
